For 33 years, Mr. Magness was in charge of the city of Fort Worth’s entertainment venues.
“He was an outstanding public servant who always kept the interest of the city in mind,” former City Manager Bob Terrell said.
Mr. Magness died Thursday afternoon. He was 75.
